Author attributions | Frequency of attribution of poems to a named author (whether in title or as a separate by-line; whether or not that attribution is correct or verifiable). Attribution frequency is described as: regular (approx. 75% or more); frequent (approx. 50-75%); occasional (25% or more, but less than one-half), rare (some attributions, but fewer than 1/4 of the poems); never (no attributions). Pseudonymous attributions (e.g. "by a Lady") are not included, but initials are. If possible, where author attributions normally appear (eg. in the title, at the end of the poem, etc.). |
